Local storage has no expiry date. Your trips and preferences stay until you delete them in the dashboard or clear site data for this domain.
Delete individual trips and saved items in your dashboard, or clear site data for this domain in your browser settings to remove everything at once. Doing so is permanent, because nothing is backed up to a server.
Blocking local storage entirely will still let you browse and use the calculators; only saving between visits stops working.
